Actually kinda meh…

There were a ton of people. The line went around the block. Good security, and the rest of the staff were good as well. I had never been to the Van Buren before. It’s size is comparable to the Marquee in Tempe. Dark Angel never showed up. They were the band I wanted to see. Exodus was ok. It was nice seeing Tom Hunting and Rob Dukes though. Never really was a Souza fan. I’ve seen Testament a couple times before, but I wasn’t digging the setlist and wound up leaving early. I was shocked that the ticket prices were decent. Usually I do anything to avoid Ticketmaster a la Eddie Vedder, but I guess them making up turned out to benefit us. I would like to see more seats at the club, but it’s a place I’m willing to visit again. They even have food and snacks?! So the venue was good, but the show was a bit of a bummer (I’m sure some people would disagree).
